Participants will have a deeper understanding of sexual violence\, and leave with resources and ways to support survivors. Click here to register.  \n  \nJust the Facts: Sexual Violence \nApril 14th\, 2021: 12:00pm - 12:45pm \nSexual violence is often portrayed inaccurately in the media and fails to factually illustrate the root cause of sexual violence and the countless barriers survivors face. The limited narrative of survivors and offenders leads to many myths surrounding sexual violence. Participants will leave with increased knowledge of the dynamics of sexual violence and survivor experiences. It is vital to a survivor's healing process that they have people in their lives who believe them and care about them. Participants will learn how they can take an empowerment approach when supporting survivors to help restore power and control. Turning Point staff will educate participants on survivor options and resources. Click here to register.  \n  \nHow To Help Without Making It Worse\nApril 26th\, 2021: 12:00pm - 12:45pm \nHas there ever been a time when you thought someone might be in danger and you wanted to intervene but didn’t know how? Participants will learn how they can take an empowerment approach and involve the survivor while intervening.
