Change the culture by myth busting

Educate yourself on the facts about sexual violence!  Believe survivors. Survivors rarely lie about being assaulted–false report rates for sexual violence are 2%.

Create a distraction (in an unsafe situation)

Cut off the conversation with a diversion like, “Let’s go for pizza, I’m starving.”  Start an activity that draws other people at the party in, like a game or a debate.

Ask directly if you think someone is in danger
