Recognizing & responding to human trafficking in our community.

While human trafficking has grown in awareness over the last decade, many still understand trafficking as happening outside of their community. This training will explore the types and venues of human trafficking in the United States, strategies to identify victims and survivors (adults and minors), and warning signs of trafficking in healthcare and community settings.

Participants will learn how to talk about trafficking with their patients and clients, how to provide trauma informed and empowering support to victims and survivors regardless of disclosure, and resources to report trafficking and support survivors.
