Our top need is gift cards as they allow us to support survivor needs throughout the entire year, and empower survivors to purchase the items they need. Cards to places such as Meijer and Kroger help supply perishable food items, such as milk, for survivors. All donations are accepted by appointment. Household Products- Tissue, 30-gallon garbage bags, 13-gallon garbage bags, plates, cups, plastic silverware, twin/queen size sheets, twin/queen size blankets, twin/queen size mattress covers, zip lock bags, batteries, cleaning supplies.
Food- Individually wrapped snacks, cereal, bottled water, any additional non-perishables.
Personal Products (Men, Women & Children)- Deodorant, shampoo, conditioner, toothpaste, liquid body wash, hair relaxers, hair moisturizers, hair oils, hair gel and edge control, bonnets, moisturizers, over the counter medication.
I Heart Dogs Rescue & Animal Haven is a nonprofit no-kill animal rescue and a haven that collaborates with Turning Point to help families experiencing domestic violence, through housing pets at no cost until they can be safely reunited. Their top items include, collars, leashes, slip leads, flea/tick prevention, OboBan disinfectant, stuffed toys/squeakers, Nyla bones, cardboard cat scratchers, soft dog treats, cat litter, canned/dry kitten food, gift cards to Pet Smart or Chewy.
